TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

DEFINITIONS:

In these terms and conditions the following words shall have the following meaning:
The COMPANY shall mean V-Tec-S Ltd, trading as JET SUPPLIES.
The CUSTOMER shall mean the corporate identity, firm or person seeking to purchase goods from the COMPANY.

TERMS OF DELIVERY:

  1. Free delivery applies to orders over £60 excluding VAT delivered throughout England and Wales except to the following destinations : Isle of Wight, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland, Eire and the Scilly Isles where it may be necessary to make additional charges for goods consigned to these destinations.
  2. Orders under £60 are subject to a handling fee of £8.50 plus an additional fee for the destinations mentioned in a) above.
  3. The COMPANY will endeavour to process and dispatch all orders (subject to availability) by 2 day delivery service within 2/3 days from the receipt of the order.
  4. Notwithstanding delivery times quoted in c) above no guarantee as to time of delivery is given or implied.
  5. The COMPANY is not responsible for any loss of profits arising from late or non-delivery of goods howsoever caused.
  6. In the event of delivery of damaged goods or part of the consignment missing, the Carriers and the COMPANY must be notified within two days of delivery, otherwise claims cannot be accepted.
  7. In the event of goods not being received within seven days of order please contact the COMPANY
  8. Incorrect Deliveries must be signed for accordingly, details of shortages or damage being given. Signing the document "Unexamined" would disbar any claim against the Carrier.
  9. We would advise that it is important for you to instruct your staff to sign for goods correctly. In case of shortages, only the number of cartons received should be signed for and the words "Damaged (Contents Unexamined)" added. The signing "Unexamined" only is not sufficient for the carrier to accept claims.

CONDITIONS OF SALE:

  1. Orders are accepted subject to being available and unsold at the time of the order.
  2. All Orders must be paid for by Credit or Debit Cards. Orders will be accepted by cheque but goods will not be despatched until the cheque has been cleared.
  3. CUSTOMERS will be contacted regarding any "out of stock" items ordered.
  4. No cancellation of goods already in transit can be accepted. If the CUSTOMER should refuse these goods on arrival, the CUSTOMER will be responsible for the cost of two way carriage and any loss of profit incurred in the resale of the goods.
  5. Should any of the goods supplied by the COMPANY prove to be defective the CUSTOMER must notify the COMPANY within two days of receipt of the goods. The goods must be held by the CUSTOMER until such time as the CUSTOMER and COMPANY mutually agree on either the return of the goods or suitable credit.
  6. Goods cannot be returned for credit without the prior agreement of the COMPANY. Goods wrongly ordered and returned for exchange will be subject to a 10% handling charge plus cost of return carriage (if applicable).
  7. The COMPANY reserves the right to improve specifications, alter prices and withdraw any items form sale without notice.
  8. Risk in goods shall pass to the CUSTOMER on delivery and the COMPANY shall not in any way be liable for any injury deleterious effects or consequential loss resulting from the application of any process treatment or storage of goods after delivery.
  9. All goods are supplied upon the terms that no warranty condition representation or guarantee as to the quality or condition of the said goods or their fitness for any particular purpose is given by the COMPANY nor is such warranty condition representation or guarantee to be implied by statute common law or otherwise.
  10. Title to goods remains with the COMPANY until paid for in full and any cheques cleared.
  11. All prices quoted are subject to VAT at the standard rate.
  12. In the event of its trading terms being exceeded, the COMPANY reserves the right to charge interest on outstanding amounts at the rate of 5% above bank base rate.
  13. All dimensions in our catalogue are approximate and should be taken as a guide and due to limitations of the printing process colour reproductions should also be taken as a guide only.
